Coastline’s Missions Ministry is doing just that by equipping, encouraging, and serving our missionaries and the ones they reach for Christ.
Leo & Pilar Gray
Calvary Chapel Bible College – Ensenada, Mexico
Leo serves as the Director of Operations at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Ensenada, Mexico. He hosts weekly Bible studies and surf lessons through the Ensenada surf and skate ministry. Pilar manages the campus store, assists in the kitchen, and leads ladies Bible studies in the community.
Leo and Pilar attended and served at Coastline for many years during the 1990’s & 2000’s as they raised their five boys in the Gulf Breeze area. The Grays actively served in the high school ministry at Coastline and helped lead the youth on short-term missions to Ensenada, Mexico for nearly a decade. In the fall of 2009, the Grays sensed God calling them to full time missions in Ensenada. In obedience, they moved from Florida to Ensenada where they continue to serve faithfully.
San Jose, Costa Rica
Calvary Chapel Bible College – San Jose, Costa Rica
Gerry serves as the Dean of Men at Coastline Calvary Bible College in Costa Rica. Administratively he is instrumental in discipling young men at the college and helping to reach out to the local community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Gerry came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior at Coastline in 2006. It was during his time at Coastline that Gerry began growing in his faith and serving the Lord and the church. Sensing God’s call upon his life, Gerry moved from Florida to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA in the fall of 2009. In December of 2010, CCBC sent Gerry and a small team to establish a Calvary Chapel and Calvary Chapel Bible College in San Isidro, Perez Zeledon, Costa Rica.
Cape Town, South Africa
Youth With A Mission – Cape Town, South Africa
Maureen serves on the global leadership team for Youth With A Mission and serves to equip leaders to make disciples who go therefore and produce new disciples. Although stationed in Cape Town, South Africa, Maureen travels the world as YWAM’s Director of International Discipleship Training Schools in over 550 locations worldwide encompassing 92 different languages.
Pastor John Spencer’s wife, Lynn Spencer, grew up and attended high school with Maureen in Springfield Massachusetts. Lynn was instrumental in leading Maureen to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Maureen graduated from Wheaton Graduate School in 1984 with a M.A. in New Testament Theology and has been serving with YWAM ever since. When Coastline began in the early 1980’s, Maureen was one of our first supported missionaries and we continue to support her as she serves today.
Kevin & Beth Lynne
Mission Aviation Fellowship – Paupa, Indonesia
As a missionary pilot and mechanic with Mission Aviation Fellowship, Kevin, Lynne, and his family live in Wamena-Papua-Indonesia where they transport short-term missionaries and deliver aid to long-term missionary families living & serving in Paupa, Indonesia.
Kevin grew up in a Christian missionary-minded home. He attended Coastline in the early 90s when he was stationed here as a helicopter pilot. It was during his time in the Navy that he began to grow spiritually and accepted a call to full-time missions.
Beth served with her first husband and five children for 10 years in Papua before his fatal aircraft accident in 2008. Beth met Kevin six months later while he was serving with MAF and the two married in October 2010.
Santa Barbara, CA
American European Bethel Mission – Santa Barbara, CA
As the executive director of the American European Bethel Mission, Jim Stretchberry’s vision is to point our Jewish brothers and sisters towards Jesus, the Messiah, and to educate Christian believers on the Holy Land and its culture. Jim serves in Israel, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, England, and the United States.
After serving alongside Pastor John Spencer in several Calvary Chapel missionary endeavors in Ireland, Australia, and Germany; Coastline partnered with Jim in 2003 when he became executive director of the AEBM. Jim and Coastline share a like-minded approach to both ministry and missions.
Chris & Nada Waldrop
Livestone Chapel – Munster, Germany
Chris serves as the Senior Pastor at Live Stone Chapel, a Calvary Chapel in Munster, Germany. He and his wife, Nada, founded this church in 2010 and reside there raising their two sons.
Chris, a native from NW Florida came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior at Coastline. It was during his time at Coastline that Chris began growing in his faith and serving the Lord and the church. In the fall of 2005, Chris sensed God’s call upon his life and moved from Florida to Siegen, Germany, to serve and attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in Siegen. Chris served there until 2007. It was during his time there that he met and married his wife, Nada. They moved to Croatia in 2009 to establish a Calvary Chapel before returning to Germany in 2010 to start a Calvary Chapel in Munster Germany.
Challenge Farm – Kenya, Africa
Known in Kitale, Kenya as “Mama Cheri,” Cheri, is the founder of the Challenge Farm. The Challenge Farm currently provides residence to 130 children.
Cheri connected with Coastline in the late 80s as she, her former husband Rick, and their three children embarked on a life journey to be on mission in Kenya. In 1992, Cheri began working with street children in the slums of Nairobi where the Challenge Ministry was founded. In 1999 Rick and Cheri moved to Kitale, Kenya. They began a Sunday morning Bible Club and soccer program. In 2000, Rick and Cheri purchased a ten-acre farm but sadly, Rick was diagnosed with cancer and died ten months later. With resolve, Cheri continued the work they began together and opened the Challenge Farm in January 2003.
Cheri has five children, three from her late husband Dr. Richard Thompson and two children the couple adopted from Kenya. She has since remarried and divides her time between Kitale, Kenya and North Carolina. She resides with her husband Larry Neese, Interational Director at KMTI. Cheri’s time in the United States is spent fundraising and public speaking.
Passe Catabois, Haiti
Bruce & Deb Robinson
Crossworld – Passe Catabois, Haiti
Bruce and Deb live and serve in North West Haiti as “Bulldozer Evangelists.” The Robinsons help with church planting, building schools, church buildings, and constructing water systems for drinking water and irrigation.
Deb & her late husband, Jim, attended Coastline when the church first began meeting at Oriole Beach Elementary School in Gulf Breeze in 1983. In the late 80’s, sensing the call of God on their lives, the couple moved to West Palm Beach, FL to work with Missionary Flights International. Jim served as a pilot and mechanic for MFI, transporting short-term missionary teams and support to long-term missionary families living and serving in Haiti. Deb worked in the MFI office.
In the late 90’s Jim was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. In early 2000 Deb met and married long-term missionary to Haiti, Bruce Robinson. “Boss” Bruce and Deb are still serving faithfully in Haiti, today.
Brian & Warrie Blackburn
Mercy Ships – Texas, USA
Brian serves as the Chief Administrator of the Mercy Ships Academy, the K-12 school for missionary kids aboard Mercy Ships. Mercy Ships are state-of-the-art hospital ships that deliver hope and healing to people around the globe and living in dire circumstances. Warrie, Brians wife, serves alongside him raising their adopted twins and serving on Mercy Ships as time allows.
Brian attended Coastline in the late 1980’s. In 1988 he encountered the Mercy Ships’, Anastasis, when the ship visited the Pensacola port. Brian volunteered for a short-term assignment during which his life was changed forever. Brian and Warrie met and married while serving as missionaries in the Mercy Ship ministry. Upon receiving his Masters in Christian Education from Wheaton College in 2001, he returned to serve as a teacher on the Anastasis. In 2007, Brian and Warrie moved to Texas where they now serve at the Mercy Ships’ headquarters in Garden Valley, Texas.

New York City, NY
Movement – New York City, NY
Mike is currently pastoring Movement Church in New York City. He travels within the United States and around the world to lead evangelistic outreaches.
Mike came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior at Coastline in the spring of 1992. After graduating from Bible College in Oregon, Mike returned to Gulf Breeze in the summer of 1999. He served on staff from 1999-2004 as the high school youth Pastor & young adults Pastor. As an Assistant Pastor, Mike helped develop the youth ministry, taught bible college classes, and developed a skateboard ministry. From 2004-2009 Mike worked with Walking On Water, in San Diego, as the Director of Outreach and Evangelism. In the spring of 2009, Mike moved to Manhattan, New York, as he sensed God calling him to plant a new church in the heart of NYC. Following God’s call he started Movement Church.

Dan & Cameron Sexton
Calvary Chapel – Ellicott City, MD
Dan and Cameron currently live in Ellicott City, Maryland. Dan is serving as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Ellicott City. Cameron is actively involved in the church and raising their three boys.
Dan came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior at Coastline. It was during his time at Coastline that Dan and his wife, Cameron, began growing in their faith and serving the Lord. They served on staff for four years from 1999-2003. Dan operated Coastline’s former off-site coffeehouse and bookstore. Cameron served as an administrative assistant and served in the women’s ministry at Coastline. In the summer of 2003, Dan and Cameron moved to Ellicott City, Maryland, as they sensed God calling them to plant a Calvary Chapel near Dan’s hometown.
Mark & Amber Swift
Calvary Chapel – Columbus, GA
Mark and Amber currently live in Columbus, Georgia. Mark is serving as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Columbus and is the overseer of the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Columbus. He also serves the Lord with a passion for missions and church planting in Peru. Amber is actively involved in the worship ministry at CC Columbus and home schools their five children.
After graduating from Calvary Chapel Bible College in southern California, Mark served on staff, at Coastline, for seven years. As a junior high youth pastor from 1996-2003, Mark was instrumental in establishing Coastline’s junior high ministry and leading many youth camps and mission trips. Mark met his wife Amber at Coastline and married in the spring of 2000. In 2003 Mark & Amber moved to Columbus, Georgia, as they sensed God calling them to plant a Calvary Chapel in the heart of Columbus.
Roger & Lori Jahn
Calvary Chapel – Lakeland, FL
Roger currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Lakeland and as a chaplain for the Lakeland Fire Department.
Roger and Lori moved from central Florida to Gulf Breeze in the early 90’s when Roger joined the staff at Coastline as the youth pastor. During that time Roger and Lori were instrumental in establishing Coastline’s youth ministry as well as being influential in leading drama presentations and mission trips. Another talent Roger displayed was through his involvement in our worship teams. He served faithfully in the area of worship for five years from 1991-1996.
Steve & Carol Feely
Calvary Fellowship – Emmaus, PA
Steve is serving as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Emmaus in Pennsylvania. His wife Carol is actively involved in serving in the church alongside her husband.
Steve and Carol came to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior in February of 1997 at Coastline. It was during their time at Coastline that Steve & Carol began growing in their faith and serving the Lord. In the spring of 1998, Steve joined the staff and was instrumental in overseeing children’s ministry, pastoral care, counseling and adult education. He also helped to establish the coffeehouse that is currently on campus. Carol joined Steve in the ministry at Coastline as the church’s receptionist. Here she served until November 2007. Steve continued to serve at Coastline until March 2009. In the fall they moved to Emmaus, PA where they sensed God calling them to plant a Calvary Chapel in the heart of the city. Steve and Carol continue to serve faithfully, sharing the gospel in Pennsylvania.
